The Tournament Edition
Fifty games.
One player.
Watch yourself improve.
A scorebook designed to preserve the game, reveal the lesson, and make the next round better.
Why it exists
Most scorebooks keep the moves.
Then stop.
Record
Comfortable 4.9mm rows, with room for up to 80 moves.
Analyse
A facing page for critical positions, decisions, and patterns.
Improve
Season-level tallies turn fifty separate games into one clear picture.
Inside the scorebook
Every page has a job.
The book follows the rhythm of tournament chess: record the game, examine the decisions, then carry one useful lesson forward.
01
Notation that stays legible
Sixty moves sit in comfortable 4.9mm rows. A compact overflow strip carries long games to move 80. Sampled clock columns appear every fifth row, so you can track time without recording every minute.
02
The lesson faces the game
Two critical-position diagrams, focus checkboxes, and short prompts sit opposite every score. The included Opera Game shows how notation becomes useful analysis rather than an archive.
03
Patterns across a whole season
Tally openings, tactics, time management, endgames, and recurring lessons across all 50 games. Eight Tournament Companion spreads help you prepare, reset, and return to the board.
Built with players and coaches
Designed from the scoresheet outward.
Tishvi begins with the conventions players already know. The notation system follows tournament scoresheet logic and supports FIDE-compliant algebraic notation.
Then it adds what a scoresheet leaves behind: room to reconstruct key positions, name the thinking error, and give a coach something specific to discuss.
What's included
One book for the work between games.

coaches@tishvichess.comQuestions
Before you begin.
Is this suitable for a beginner?
Yes. A notation primer is printed inside the back cover, and the reflection prompts use plain questions. A beginner can start simply and use more of the system as their analysis develops.
Does it work for rated FIDE events?
Yes. The notation layout is designed around standard algebraic notation and real tournament scoresheet conventions. Always follow any event-specific instructions given by the arbiter.
What if I'm left-handed?
The Wire-O binding sits on the left. The book still opens fully flat, so both pages remain stable and usable while you write.
How is this different from a normal notebook?
Each game has a purpose-built notation grid and a facing analysis page. The Season Review then helps you tally recurring patterns across all 50 games — something loose notes cannot do consistently.
